External Quality Assurance Reviews

The Office of Internal Audit is required to undergo an external quality assurance review at least every five years.

A team of independent external reviewers are engaged to complete an external review of the office to assess conformance with The Institute of Internal Auditors’ Global Internal Audit Standards. These reviews seek to identify opportunities to enhance our office’s operations with recommended best practices.
